About Jenny Allen Taves

I love making art, and sharing my art with you! I love learning and playing with new materials and creative techniques and especially love working with watercolours, acrylic inks, pens, and pencil crayons. I make the art I want to see, based on whatever inspires me at the time. I love making freehand patterns, mixing all the colours, the contrast of black & white & metallics, and filling my pages to the brim! I am always looking for new ways to develop and use my art, and I feel simultaneously exhilarated and at peace when I’m creating.

I can often be found playing in my art studio and spending time with my family in our home by the beach. I’m so grateful and privileged to get to live on the beautiful West Coast of BC, Canada, on the traditional and unceded lands of the Tla’amin Nation, in qathet Regional District.
