Make a Travelling Buddy – Knit and Needle Felt Workshop -REGISTRATION IS FULL

Adults and youth age 11+ are invited to join local artist Laura Balducci in this four-hour workshop and learn how to draw and design your own knitting pattern, cast- on, knit, cast-off, and needle felt. Beginner and continuing knitters welcome! All materials provided.

About Laura Balducci
Laura Balducci is a multidisciplinary artist, originally from North Vancouver B.C. and has spent the last decade on Cortes Island. During her time living rurally on the Salish Sea, she has explored many mediums from doll making, acrylic paints, collage, photography, using items found randomly at the free store, and creating buttons. Laura has had six solo art installations, participated in countless group shows, curated many art shows, served as the coordinator at the Cortes Island Museum and even had her own band called The Abbie Hoffman Society.
