In Powell River
Immigrant Services Welcome Centre – settlement support for immigrants, refugees, temporary residents with work permits, and Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) approved applicants. Services & programs include: ESL tutoring, Conversation Club, information & orientations (e.g. Employee Rights, Citizenship, Resources for Families, Wildlife Safety, Taxes, etc.), crisis support, help with documents, assisted access to other services, employment support & exam preparation, cultural events, bilingual support, Cooking Club, Book Club, and community connection opportunities.
