More to Explore

Kids and caregivers: are you looking for more to do at the library? We’ve got you covered whether it’s a rainy day, an extended stay, or maybe you want to read your books inside your very own fort! Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-4pm  the library has the following play resources available on a by-request basis: Crazy Forts, Lego, Duplo, Mega Bloks, Keva Planks, and Augmented Reality Books. All you need is your library card.

The Rules

  1. You may only use these resources inside the library.
  2. Resources are same-day use only and must be returned by or before 4 pm to the Children’s and Teen Services office. If the office is closed, resources may be returned to the Service Desk.
  3. Resources must be used in the designated area in front of the magnet board in the Children’s Study (adjacent to the Anne Woznow Children’s Reading Room). Please do not use these resources in the Reading Room, which is meant for browsing and reading.
  4. We ask that you engage in quiet play, respecting others who use the library to read and study.
