As a part of re-opening and welcoming patrons back to the physical library, the Library Board has decided to reduce barriers to access and waive all outstanding fines for overdue, lost and damaged items. Further overdue fines will not accrue through the end of 2020.

Books Movies and Music
Need some new books, music or movies? The library has a few services to get you the content you are after.
Library Takeout Use your library account online to place holds on the materials you would like to pick up. When your items are ready we will call or email to let you know.
Grab Bags Let us select a few books for you, just select the type you are interested in by placing a hold on it.

Overdue Items, Holds, Returns & Interlibrary Loans
Want to bring your books back? The drop box (located to the right of the foyer entrance) is open!
Want more time? Renew your books and DVDs online or by phone by calling the Service Desk
Forgiveness Overdue fines are forgiven
Interlibrary Loans may not be requested from other libraries at this time, if you have an ILL item you may return it.
Materials now have a four week loan period.
Digital Books, Magazines and Video
We offer eBooks, eAudiobooks, and digital magazines to enjoy on your phone, tablet or eReader through the free Libby app (OverDrive).
Library Cards Issued Online
Need a library card to access free eBooks and online courses? Email email@example.com to register.
Computers, Printing and Scanning
Public computers are available by appointment, and for drop-in service as possible. Please call the Service Desk to arrange an appointment.
Printing and scanning is available, we encourage you to try our remote print service before coming to the library.
Programs and Services
Remote Tech Support
Need some help setting up and email account or setting up your new eReader? We are available to support you remotely to keep you reading, learning and connecting from home. Call the Service Desk or email Mark at firstname.lastname@example.org for support.
Storytime, writers’ workshops, Summer Reading Club and historic presentations about Powell River are just a few of the familiar programs that have become available online. Check our Events Calendar for current listings.
