About Community Radio Station CJMP 90.1FM

Collage with multidisciplinary artist Laura Balducci who is also a member of community radio station CJMP 90.1FM and working towards having her own radio program in the near future.

CJMP 90.1FM is the voice of community on the shores of the Salish Sea.

BIO: Laura Balducci is a multidisciplinary artist, originally from North Vancouver B.C. and has spent the last decade on Cortes Island. During her time living rurally on the Salish Sea, she has explored many mediums from doll making, acrylic paints, collage, photography, using items found randomly at the free store, and creating buttons. Laura has had six solo art installations, participated in countless group shows, curated many art shows, served as the coordinator at the Cortes Island Museum and even had her own band called The Abbie Hoffman Society.
