Summer Reading Club Case #2 – Fingerprint Forensics & Felons

Case #2 is Finger Print Forensics & Felons!

Hello Detectives and welcome to your next case! This week we will be using our detective skills to look at our own fingerprints, examining every swirl and loop! We will also be getting creative using fingerprints to create our own suspects, transforming a fingerprint into a sneaky, conniving Felon!

Supplies Needed:

– Finger Print Forensics & Felons Instruction sheet (available here)

– All About Fingerprints Worksheet (available here)

– Comic Grid Paper

– Stamp pad

– Black ink pen, felt pens, pencils, or pencil crayons

On Friday July 9th 10:00 – 11:00AM we will have a virtual workshop with the Vancouver Police Museum where we will learn about Fingerprint Forensics! If you are registered for Summer Reading Club watch your emails for the link!

SRC is teaming up with Green Thumb Theatre Monday, June 28th and has extended submissions until Monday, Aug 2nd! You can try your hand at becoming a mystery playwright and complete the ending to Misadventure at the LighthouseGreen Thumb Theatre will have professional actors do a live virtual play reading where they’ll select and read 3 different endings submitted by participants on Wednesday, August 18th @ 2pm on YouTube! There are also options for those who would rather create artwork  for a character or location! You can access SRC’s website here for more information!
